Very pleasant evening and ambience. Ideal for a work day in London, when meeting business partner, I took 6 people to William's Bar and Bistro. My friend and I had the salad scallops with bacon, sirlioin burger, slow cooked pork cheeks and dessert - soaked savarin with raspberries!! It is a perfect gathering spot for post-work socializing, or a lovely dinner for two. The tables are beautifully set, lovely glassware, linen and cutlery and the waiters are charming to a fault. Also available is the 1840 themed Afternoon Tea, designed by William Drabble of in-house Michelin Star restaurant Seven Park Place. The St. James's Hotel and Club is another of those back street St. James's hotels, along with Dukes and The Stafford, in an area where back streets are shorthand for refined living £55 for the chaepest wine ? The food was a little underwhelming as I was expecting more from an afternoon tea designed by a Michelin stared chef.
